what i've been waiting for.

Tucson Day

Pronunciation: /TOO-sahn day/
Function: Maintain sanity
Etymology: American with a hint of Cambodian
Date: 21st century.

Warning: Technically not in the city of Tucson, can be experience anywhere, anytime.

1. An eventful day on your own, never planned, the only awareness of it is the day of.
2. Doing what feels right in that moment; gently abolishing all 'plans' when this feeling strikes.
3. No worries or regrets allowed, this even means treating yourself and knowing you've earned it.
4. Never expected but much needed.

Caution: Gaining mileage, exploring, wasting gas, losing track of time, multiple U-turns, finding treasures, eye opening, feeling humble about every detail of your life, a kick in the rear when you come back to reality, but a heart full of love.

happy month anniversary blog!

My mind is currently racing like a pulse would after a good sprint, so this post better make some sense. Today marks the day of an entire month since I've started blogging, I choose to dedicate it to my title, we're all MAD. Hopefully you'll understand my reasoning into picking this phrase once you've read one of my most admired quotes ever.

"The only people for me are the mad ones. The ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved... The ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but BURN BURN BURN like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars."
.Jack Kerouac.

I was introduced to this brilliance by Brittany-one of my best girlfriends [as my daddy-o would say]. I could only dream of everyone being inspired as I was when I read this. I'm in a quote mood so here's another one that's similar and has the same passion:

"Don't ask what the world wants. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."                  .Howard Thurman.

I'll be taking about a week break from my computer, don't know how I'll survive but I'm doing it anyways! Enjoy this week lovey doves.

verano disease.

have you ever been so tired of things?
i'm tired of not having a responsibility.
i'm tired of not doing anything about it.
i'm tired of monotony happening quickly.
i'm tired of losing passion.
i'm tired of feeling lost.
i'm tired of expectations.
i'm tired of putting it off.
i'm tired of not maintaining.
i'm tired of having no motivation.
i'm tired of not putting up any fences.
i'm tired of waiting because the act of waiting keeps on extending with hours.
most of all, i'm sick of wasting my time.

i quit not caring. i quite wasting.
I WANT DEVELOPMENT.

I have never felt so much love for my friends until I went through my first year of college and by golly I have some of the best ones.

summer project #1 done.

I hung up six rectangles of plexi-glass on my newly neutral painted walls. Each one has a certain objective to help me keep track of things and make the most out of my day productive-wise.
We shall see how long this will last.
Oh, and I'm thinking I might paint one side white so it will look similar to mini white boards and be more legible.

east.south.more east.

This wasn't the kind of scenery we were expecting. At all. We hoped it would get greener, but it never did. We got lucky and found a grass area on the side of the road though!

Guess who else jumped on the blog train, check it.
Bleh, him and his mustard.

G, Hi-C you, crazy Willy Lennon.

The fancy smancy beverages.

Alex's and my drunk root beer photo. Classy, don't you think?

On the drive home, Alex and I noticed the green belts two seconds away from my house. Perfect meadow vision, lush, green, shaded by trees.
Beware, you better be expecting another picnic post very very soon.

L-G-Oooo.

The adventures of Justin, Lucy, and I:
We drive a good distance, eat until we're overly full, buy foreign cd's, drive more, walk around art galleries and shops when they're closed, kindly vandalize, and carry our cameras on our necks simultaneously.
